Pacific International Hospital is the first 24/7 private, multi-specialty hospital in Papua New Guinea. It is conveniently located in Port Moresby, on stores road, next to the 4 mile PMV bus stop in Boroko.
PIH was commissioned in 2001 as a secondary level private medical facility. It was upgraded in 2005 to a multi-specialty tertiary level facility, including critical care, to meet the demand of private health care seekers in Papua New Guinea.
PIH is affiliated with Raffles Hospital, Singapore.

The 24/7 accident & emergency is staffed with well trained medical and paramedical teams and is equipped with essential life support and resuscitation systems. It is backed by 24/7 radiology & imaging, clinical laboratory and pharmacy services, a well equipped critical care unit, ambulance service, operation theatre, intensive care unit and labour & delivery suite.
The hospital’s Outpatient department offers family medicine and multi-specialty clinics for walk-in and appointment patients, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday and 8 am to 12 pm on Saturdays.
In-patient facility includes VIP Suite, private & semi-private rooms and general wards and provides personalized, quality medical care on a 24/7 hours basis.
PIH offers the most comprehensive diagnostics services in Papua New Guinea available round the clock. PIH boasts the only private CT scan unit and is the only facility with mammography facility in the country.
