Anaesthesia and Critical care
Our anaesthesia service has three full time specialist anaesthetists who provide round the clock cover for the hospital’s accident & emergency room, operating theater and intensive care unit. The operating room is equipped with modern Datex Ohmeda anaesthesia machine and multi-parameter patient monitors for safe administration of general, spinal, epidural and local anaesthesia. Our anaesthetists are ACLS and EMST certified and manage critical care patients on ventilators. The two bedded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped with ventilators, patient monitors, syringe pumps, infusion pumps and other life saving equipment.
