Hospital Executive
Acting CEO & Consultant Ophthalmologist
Dr. Amyna Sultan, MBBS, FAAO, Diplomate American Board of Ophthalmology
Dr. Sultan has been associated with PIH since the planning and establishment of PIH in 2001. She has been instrumental in the development of PIH and has served as the medical director from 2001 to 2006. She continues to serve as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and acting CEO of PIH and is a director on the Board.
She is also an honorary Ophthalmologist at Port Moresby General Hospital and has served as a senior lecturer & external examiner at UPNG school of Medicine in Papua New Guinea.
Dr. Sultan obtained her MBBS from Aga khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She received her post-graduate clinical and research training in Ophthalmology at the Hahnemann University, Philadelphia and at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
She has over 10 years of international experience in health services administration and clinical & academic Ophthalmology. She served as Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Aga khan University, Karachi, Pakistan and was the Medical director of ORBIS International’s Flying Eye Hospital, an international humanitarian charity based in New York, NY, USA.

Medical Director
Dr. Sanjay Aggarwal M.B.B.S, P.G.D.H.H.M., M.B.A.
Dr.Sanjay Aggarwal, Medical Director of PIH is an experienced clinician, who is also qualified in health and business management. His previous experience includes administration of a 650 bedded multi-specialty, Hospital in Delhi, India and setting up of Telemedicine program.

Hospital Administrator
Mr. Siddhartha Jyothi, B.E, M.H.A.
Mr. Jyothi qualified as Maters in Hospital Administration from the reputed Tata Institute of Social Sciences (T.I.S.S) in India and has over 8 years of experience as a hospital administrator. He is also a qualified biomedical engineer and oversees the biomedical support for the hospital, in addition to his administration functions. He also provides guidance to the hospital IT systems. He is a member of the Australian institute of management. (M.A.I.M)

Head Nurse
Ms. Joyce Daniels
Ms. Daniels has over 25 years of experience in hospital industry in Papua New Guinea, out of which, over 15 years of experience has been in the private sector. She is responsible for managing the nursing department and monitoring nursing standards at PIH.

Sr. Accounts Manager
Mr. Ghanshyam Baheti, A.C.A, B.Com (Hons)
Mr. Baheti is a qualified Charted Accountant from India. He has over 3 years of experience in the accounts and finance arena. His role is to provide supervise and support for the day to day accounting and financial activities of the hospital.
He is a registered member of CPA PNG.
