Labour ward
A team of three experienced specialists cover our obstetrics and gynecology service. Specialist consultations and delivery packages are available in the out-patient clinics. 24/7 emergency care is available at the accident & emergency room. Our two bedded labour and delivery suite is equipped with ultrasound, cardiotocography (CTG) machine and doppler for safe fetal monitoring. High risk deliveries are also attended by our paediatrician to ensure the safety of your new born.
The 24/7 operating room back-up is available for any for complicated cases requiring delivery by caesarian section and other gynaecological surgical cases.

PIH Also offers FREE Mammogram tests for the early detection of breast cancer for all Papua New Guinean women above 40 years of age or younger women with family history of breast cancer.
