Pathology (Laboratory)
Our laboratory is open 24/7 and provides biochemistry, microbiology, haematology, histopathology, cytology, Pap smear reporting services.
It is equipped with ERBA automated equipments for biochemistry analysis, I-STAT electrolyte and arterial blood gas analyzer. The haematology department has a five part Beckman Coulter differential count haematology analyzer. The microbiology department provides routine culture and sensitivity for bacteria, fungal and TB. Serology testing is available for typhoid, malaria, HIV and dengue.
The department is well staffed with an associate pathologist, full time manager and laboratory technologists, including a microbiology technologist.
